News, light and a phone charge when the power is off

This wind up radio is for households in rural or coastal spots, campers and anyone who wants a radio and torch that still work when the lights go out. It is powered three ways: a hand crank, a solar panel on top and USB charging from the mains or a power bank, so it is never dead when you need it. Tune into AM and FM stations for news and weather, use the built-in torch to find your way round a dark house, and use the USB output to put some charge into a phone. Compact enough for the glovebox or a kitchen drawer.

Why you'll love it

Three power sources: Hand crank, solar panel and USB rechargeable
AM/FM radio: Keep up with news and weather during a power cut
Built-in torch: Bright light for dark rooms and camping
USB output: Top up a phone in an emergency
Compact: Around 24 x 7 x 17 cm, light enough for a rucksack

Perfect for: power cuts, winter storms, camping and caravans
