Twenty-four tiny classics, one for every day of advent

For book lovers, English teachers and anyone who would rather unwrap a story than a chocolate, this book advent calendar hides a miniature classic behind each day from 1 December to Christmas Eve. The 24 mini books, around 6.2 × 5.1 cm with roughly 92 pages each, are glue-bound with decorative printed covers and contain the opening chapters of works such as The Age of Innocence, Walden, Don Quixote, The Great Gatsby and Dracula. Each one has an attached gold string, so once read it hangs on the Christmas tree as a bookish ornament, turning a daily treat into a collectible decoration.

Why you'll love it

  • 24 classic reads: opening chapters from well-known world literature, one a day
  • Readable mini books: around 92 pages of clear print with secure glue binding
  • Hang on the tree: gold string attached for use as a Christmas ornament
  • Beautifully made: decorative printed covers in rich colours
  • Collectible: builds into a set of tiny books to keep year after year

Perfect for: advent countdowns, gifts for book clubs and teachers, bookish Christmas tree decor, stocking fillers for readers
